Ray Hall Memorial Winter League

The Ray Hall Memorial Winter Track League is being established as a tribute to the contribution Ray Hall (Belgrave Harriers) gave to race walking. Ray competed in the 1962 European Games over 50km and was one of the few to beat 8 hours on the Stock Exchange London to Brighton. After hanging up his racing shoes he put an enormous amount back into athletics in many ways, particularly as a highly respected coach and race walk judge.
